Advance shopping. Although i posted this a little late but im sure it'll work 100%. It will not only save you from rush hour current but it will save your money, because we all know in some unknown reason prices of some products are rising when holidays like this are coming.
Make a list. Making a list of the things that you'll gonna buy before shopping will not cause you a mistake of buying a not-so-very-important things, and avoided wasting money.
Set your budget. Always set your budget when going shopping, just bring the exact amount of money.
Compare product prices. Take the cheaper than the expensive one, it has the same content and quality but different label.
Buy in bulk. You can save money if you buy in bulk.
Do the alternatives. For example in cooking, instead of using olive oil use corn oil which is cheaper than olive oil. They have the same content of small amount of saturated fats and much healthier than other cooking oils.
Count even a single cent. To reach a million, cent is always needed. I only want to tell that don't just disregard a single cent.
On Presents
Give a cheaper but memorable gift than the expensive and not-so memorable one, "price doesn't matter!" Tell them that. ^^,
Instead of using gift wrappers, try to produce your own. There are some easy way to make your own gift wrappers, like a colorful page of newspaper or magazine, or a blank paper of any color try to decorate them with different stuffs like pasting ribbons, beads, etc. Just be creative and im sure it will be a great present.
Try to canvass their prices. Window shop and compare prices before buying is an effective way to save money.
Decorations
Compare their prices. Just like when buying foods and presents.
Produce your own. Make your own christmas decorations instead of purchasing them, like christmas balls, you don't need to buy them you can make it by using crampled papers and wrap it nicely by colored paper, and add some glitters on it to be look more nicer, then stick a thread on it to hang them on your christmas tree or wherever you want them to place.
Do the alternatives. Homemades are much cheaper than the branded one just like as i said above, but you can still save money by buying homemades thru online or personal than buying brandeds or at malls/shopping centers.
Re-use. This is the most effective ways to save money from decorations, not only saves your money but it'll save your time by buying those decorations again. But if you didn't keep any decorations of yours from last years holiday then you can try the tips above.
Remember... True Christmas is not base on how delicious your dish are, or how expensive your gifts are, or even how glamour your decorations are. The most important is that we celebrate the day Jesus Christ was born and we are thankful to it.

Some Few Gourmet Tips
In pasta
Always cook pasta in salted water, but dont add the salt until the water boils. You'll need 2 tablespoons of coarse (kosher) salt for 1 pound of pasta. Salted water has a higher boiling point, so it will take longer. Taste the pasta to determine if it is done. perfectly cooked pasta should be "al-dente", or firm to the bite, yet cooked through. Another advantage to cooking pasta al dente , is that it preserves some of the vitamins and minerals that are lost into the cooking water with longer cooking times.
When adding-up ingredients
When a recipe calls for adding oil, garlic and onions to a pan, add garlic last. This keeps it from burning and tasting bitter.
In making chocolate shavings
To make the best and prettiest chocolate shavings, use white or milk chocolate, they are softer in texture and curl better.
When unmolding gelatins
To help gelatin hold its shape when unmolded, add a teaspoon of white vinegar to the recipe.
When scooping rock-hard ice cream
When ice cream is rock-hard, dip the scoop in hot water to make scooping easier.
To obtain fluffier mashed potatoes
To make mashed potatoes fluffier, add a pinch of baking soda along with the butter and milk.
When lack of brown sugar
If youre out of brown sugar, try substituting an equal amount of granulated sugar plus 1/4 cup molasses (light or dark) for every cup of white sugar.
To obtain a uniform mashroom slice at the same time quicker
To slice mashrooms quickly and uniformly, use an egg slicer.
When cooking shrimp
When shrimp curl into a semicircle theyre done. When tightly coiled, theyre overdone.
To avoid bacon in sticking together
Bacon strips won't stick together if you roll up the package like a jelly roll before opening it.

To prevent boil-overs, apply a thin coat of cooking oil around the top of the inside of pots.

How to Prevent Global Warming?
Conserve energy at home, at work or even at school. Unplugged all electronics when not in use.
Use energy-efficient appliances (when it is time to buy new ones) and energy-efficient flourescent that gives the same light but produce lesser amount of watts.
Drive less. Use bicycle or take a walk. It will not only help to prevent global warming but it will also help you exercise your body.
When going grocery shopping, use your own re-usable environment-friendly bags.
Plant a tree.
Keep your vehicles tuned up and tires pressure always checked for fuel consumption.
Choose fresh foods over frozen good foods, because fresh foods takes less energy to produce than frozen good foods.
Decrease your air travel. As much as possible when vacation, spend your time at the nearest vacation place to lessen the fuel consumption.
Place your trash/garbage in the right place. Do not burn them.
Buy recyclable products.
Consider investing in hybrid or elecric vehicle rather than ordinary cars that only cause our earth warmer.

Your name represents your whole personality, and on friendster it represents your profile. Avoid changing your name, it will only destined to confusion for some people who has some interest to you. Putting some special character together with your name will be a good idea if you want your name to be placed on the top list of your Friends friends-list.
Don't Leave Any Blank Spaces
Fill-up all spaces on your profile such as, what are your favorite books, movies, music, etc. This is to give the viewer some interesting idea about yourself. Some viewer really likes to view a profile with lots and useful of informations.
